Wellbore Scratchers
A range of well bore cleaning and conditioning products are available from CCAI. Wire Scratchers and Cable Cleaners are used to remove debris such as drilling fluid and filter cake from the formation walls. Wellbore Cleaners are fixed to the casing via a tightening bolt or set screws to prevent axial movement and act to clean the wellbore during casing running and reciprocating operations. Cleaning the wellbore is essential to achieving a good cement bond to the formation, preventing fluid and gas migration in the annulus, and providing zonal isolation. In addition, Wellbore Cleaners help reinforce the cement column.
Wellbore Cleaners are available for casing sizes ranging from 4 1/2’’ to 40’’.
